My idea is to get thick, non-porous light shades to trap the heat inside the shade. It will then have a switch which lets you radiate trapped heat from the sun into the room when it is cold so it will heat up the room. The shades will also have lights in them that can be charged by the Sun. To change the bulb you have to unscrew the bottom. Once you have put the new bulb in you have to screw the bottom back on the shade. Be careful to put it on properly.
