thick curtains

I think thick curtains could help in your house to save heat because they would trap heat in on cold days. I also think it would help in our school to have heavy, dark curtains to block out light when it is a bright, sunny day and we can't see our projector screens. We could close the school curtains at night in the winter to keep heat in.

my insulation idea

My insulation idea is that classroom lights could adjust how much light they give off. By installing a special light sensor that could know how much light was coming from outside the lights in room would automatically adjust so that they would give out just enough light. They would dim automatically on bright days and go brighter on dull days. They could also be adapted to have panels on them that could gather heat and release it when it is cold.

If you have a drafty house get an old rag and put it behind your door to keep the draft out
your house and the heat in.
Use cellotphan on your windows for double glazing if you can't afford the real thing because double glazing can save you around ninety pounds a year off your heating bills.

Clips to door . To take it off press one of the 3 buttons on the snakes head for easy, medium or hard. It will ask a maths question. Type in the answer on the numbers on its back and press submit. If you get it correct it will come off the door and a tick will appear on the screen.

wall curtain

You could put special display wall hangings on the walls in old, draughty schools to keep heat in. the wall hangings would hook on to a wall. The inside would be stuffed with insulating material and the outside would have a range of bright reflecting colours. Plastic pockets and velcro would allow teachers to use them as a display space. This idea is good for keeping your school warm with out spending more money on heating. It will also help teachers create bright, colourful displays.

i think thick curtains would help make the house have more heat and schools could use them for projectors and it could save heat

V.H.S

My insulation innovation is the V.H.S (Virtual heating system) which takes heat from a computer
or T.V. and channels it into a specially adapted radiator and uses it to heat your house!!
